I Just Can't Take My Eyes Off You.

She wakes, wrapped up in the blanket, and his arms. She laughs silently, as she looks to her left and sees him. Asleep. It was weird waking up before him. It is usually the guy that watches the girl sleep. She was very thankful she was awake before him now. She flashes back to a picture her mom took of her asleep one Christmas morning. "Eck." She thinks. She looks down at his arms wrapped around her bare torso, and begins to wiggle out of them. As soon as she is almost out, they tighten back around her and pull her to him closely. "Ah, ah, ah ma'am!" "How long have you been awake?" "Just where do you think you are going?" She snuggles closer to him. He was warm. "Nowhere now." "That's what I thought." She smirks. "I could get up if I wanted to." "Try. I dare you." He tells her. "Okay." She lifts to get up but his arms are locked too tight around her. He pulls her on top of him and locks his arm around her. "Looks like your caught." She smiles and kisses him. "How unfortunate for me."

Fast Cars & Freedom

She was hunched over some homework, in what was called "The Hub". It was an area in the back of the TC library. "Ughhhhhhhh." Lindsi turned to see her new friend Collen standing in the doorway. "Are you talk-" She started to say but then realized he was on the phone, well, hanging it up really. "Is everything okay?" She asks him. "Yes, just a friend having some issues with his girl." She turns her head back to her books. "Oh, i hope everything turns out okay." "I'm sure it will, so what are you working away at over here?" He turned up the book to stare at the cover. "Physics. I just don't get it... i didn't in high school either." He smiles. "I love Physics! Maybe I can help you out." He scoots his chair close to her. "Oh, good! Your just beginning! So I can help you without you being lost!" She smiles. "Thank goodness!" He beginnings to explain the Physics to her, and she actually gets it!
Later, shes not sure how much time has passed, but her stomach begins to growl. "Excuse me! I must be hungry!" He checks his phone. "Well, I imagine you are! We have been in here for over 3 hours." "Your kidding! it didn't feel like that long at all! I hope I didn't keep you from any plans!" "Not at all! I was actually coming in here to see if you wanted to grab some coffee with me, when i noticed that confused look." She blushes. "Well, I would love to grab some coffee with you, Collen." "Well, you sound like you need more than coffee Lindsi. How about, Olive Garden? That's my favorite place." "I LOVE THAT PLACE!" She says. "Well, After you ma'am." "Wait! Will your girlfriend be mad about you taken another girl out to dinner?" "Last time I checked I was a single guy.. but lets talk more about that over dinner, shall we?" He draped his arm loosely around her shoulders, as they head out to eat.

The Perfect Love ( I Can Love You Like That)

He walks in as she pulls the homemade pizza out of the oven. She left the door unlocked for him. "Hey!" she says as she sets the hot pan on the counter and turns off the oven. "Hey." He says as he wraps his arms around her from behind and nuzzles her neck. She giggles as he runs his hands down her arms and interlocks their hands. He pulls her into him and kisses her. She kisses him back. "I missed you, Lindsi." He says. She smiles. "I missed you too." He grabs her from behind again and walks like that around the kitchen with her. "Did you already eat lunch on the way here?" She turns around to look at him. "No, specifically for this reason!" He picks up a slice of pizza she just cut. "Well it's good to know you enjoy my cooking!" She says laughing. "I do!" He says as he spit pizza across the kitchen. She laughs again and wipes the pizza sauce off the corner of his lip. "Messy eater, aren't we?" She says as he swallows the last bite of pizza. "Yes, I wonder how you taste?" He attacks her neck, slobbering and kissing and biting all over it as she falls into him and laughs again. "Quiiiiiiitttttt Ittttttt!" She laughs. When he finally quits her neck is covered in red pizza flakes and slobber. "Yuck!" She grabs a napkin and wipes her neck off. "You taste pretty awesome babe." She rolls her eyes and turns back to her pizza. 'Did you just roll your eyes at me?" He advances toward her, and she knows he is about to get her. She runs around him and to the living room where they run around the chairs until he grabs one of her legs and trips her. She falls next to him on the living room floor. "Um, ouch! You butthole!" He crawls over her and pins her to the floor. 'Well missy! Don't roll your eyes at me!" He kisses her, long and slowly. Then helps her up to the couch where they lay together and talk, and cuddle eventually fall asleep. Curled up. Full of pizza. And utterly... Satisfied.

Every Light in the House

The music plays softly, as he gathers her close to him. They dance. Everything fades but him and her. He smells good. She breathes deeply as he twirls her around and then gathers her back to him. Like a classic Cinderella story.

Teenage Dream.

She is busy typing a paper cross legged on her bed when the door opens to the apartment. "Hey!" He yells through the apartment. "In here!" She yells back and he enters the bedroom. She looks down at her shorts and tank top and messy bun. "I know, I look a mess! I wanted to work on this paper, some and don't have class today." He smiles and flops down on the bed. 'What do you have so far?" She turns the laptop toward him. He reads. "That is really good, Lindz." He is the only guy that's ever called her by her nickname.  "Eh, it's okay. It'll do." She smiles and reach's for her coffee mug sitting on the nightstand. She gets a drink and replaces the cup, laying back on the bed. She stretch's as he rubs her stomach. She smiles. "I'm so sleepy! I stayed up late last night!" He grabs her and pulls her to him. She folds nicely into the curve of his chest. He strokes her hair and whispers to her. She wasn't sure what he was saying, she just liked the feel of him and her so close and sweet. She started to drift off. When she wakes he is still there beside her, her laptop is closed and on the desk on the other side of the room. She wakes and cuddles him. He wakes and holds her. She begins to talk. About everything, spilling and baring her soul. He just quietly listens and holds her closer.

Back to You

She walks into the classroom, nervous as any freshman there. She finds a seat in the middle toward  the front. She slides into the seat and takes a deep breath, not sure what to expect. She looks down at her outfit. Dark jeans with a tank and jean jacket. Hair curly hanging in her face. She pulls out a pencil and drums the desk with it. A slender figure approachs her, "This seat taken?" She looks up at a guy (no doubt a frat boy trying to put the move on her) "Yes, my imaginary friend Krystal is sitting there!" She cracks a smile. "Oh! No! I.. Hope i didn't offend her!" He smiles back. "She just moved. Your in luck now! Take a seat." He sits. He smells good. And he's not bad on the eyes. Her brain snaps her back into reality when the door slams and the teacher walks in. Her and mystery boy exchange glances. Class begins. The teacher goes over rules, and passes out books. Gives them their first assignment. Wow, she thought. People who told you college wasn't anything like high school where definately right. Class gets dismissed. Mystery boy, stand as she gathers her notebook and books into her bag. "I didn't catch your name..." He said extending his hand. "Lindsi." She said taking his hand. "Well, pleasure to meet you Lindsi, I'm Collen." They shake and walk out of class together. "Umm.. I hope I'm not being to forward but do you want to grab something to eat.. maybe?" She smiled. "Sure. Lead the way."

"Alright, I Gotcha, I Gotcha...".

I knew this was coming, but it still hurt just as bad as if I didn't even see it coming. I wasn't sure what my feet were doing. As they walked away from the boy I had invested so much into, the pain I usually felt, the stabbing, heart slicing pain, wasn't there. So did it really hurt as much as I had said?  I knew I wasn't sure weather my head and heart were in agreement, but after a moment I knew they were. They both screamed: "Enough Is Enough Lindsi. You don't deserve to be treated this way!" as I looked at my reflection in the mirror. I reached out to it and touched my reflected face, and said: "You are a strong independent, wonderful, amazing girl. You deserve a MAN that will shower you in love and affection, not a BOY that plays you like a toy." I smiled as two tears slipped down my cheeks. As i walked calmly back out to the reality, I felt a change come over me. I'm still trying to determine what that change is. I just don't feel the same way I did before. Did the guard I have said I was going to place over my heart finally fall around it? Did I put up a sheild to not allow myself to feel anymore pain? Did I finally reach the "I've had enough" point? As I looked over at him I felt no anger, no sadness, no nothing anymore. I felt a sence of freedom. Like a bird with clipped wings that just taught itself to fly. I will sore high above him, and shit on his head. Ah, see, theres the anger. :) So, I'm movin on, at last I can see, life has been patiently waiting for me. So, there are going to be some changes. Some Big. Some small. I'm going to pave my own road.
